Daily Asatru app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: John Garrison
First release : 20 Jul 2010
App size: 6.41 Mb
Daily Asatru provides you with a different stanza from two poems of the Poetic Edda each day. The Havamal, and the Voluspa. The stanzas are presented in order so the app can also be used as a tool to memorize these great works.
Each of the poems is presented in two different translations, one by Henry Adams Bellows and the other by Olive Bray. This allows you to pick your favorite, or use both to glean the most meaning from the words.
The app also features a page that will give you a random rune each day. The rune is presented with its name, meaning, and the rune poem associated with it. This section can be used to provide a daily meditation.
